Meet TJ
As a trauma therapist of 10 years, I have experience helping those who are in a stuck place. This corner of the world is where I started my play, I learned my love of play, and have guided hundreds out of and into an embodied life that aligns with their values and joy. By understanding the role play has on your mind and body, you can form new patterns and transform your life.
Before play, I was burnt out by the “mindfulness” culture. I appreciated the importance of stillness and breathwork, but there was no one teaching active silliness and letting go.
I didn’t want more coping skills, I wanted more abundant living skills. I didn’t want to increase my tolerance for hard sh**, I wanted to increase my tolerance for laughter and stupidity. No matter where I turned, no one was offering what I needed. Classes felt about performance, control, skill, and perfection. I wanted community, joy, engagement, and liberation.
Relearning play recentered my play. It transformed every single part of my life for the better and I cannot wait to guide you on your own play mindfulness journey.
