For over a decade, in my role as a trauma therapist, I’ve walked with people trapped in the shadows of their own lives, stuck in a loop they couldn’t escape. But that’s where I discovered something powerful—play. It wasn’t just a game, it was a lifeline. It cracked open a new world, one where I’ve helped hundreds break free and reconnect with who they truly are, guiding them toward lives filled with joy and purpose. Play isn’t just fun—it rewires the mind, reshapes the body, and reignites the soul.
Before play? I was burnt out, drowning in the “mindfulness” culture. Stillness, breathwork, sure, it had its place—but no one was talking about what I was craving: letting go. Where was the silliness? Where was the space to just laugh, be ridiculous, and free?
I didn’t need more coping skills—I needed living skills. I wanted to stretch my limits—not for suffering, but for joy, for laughter, for all the wild, stupid, beautiful things that make life worth living. Everywhere I turned, it was all about performance, control, and perfection. But I wanted community, I wanted liberation. I wanted a revolution of joy.
