TJ Matton is a social worker, psychotherapist, coach, and constructive misbehavior enthusiast. With a fervent belief in the transformative power of play, TJ is on a mission to help adults liberate their minds and bodies by engaging the play-state.

 TJ’s businesses, Windows Into Healing and The Playful Revolution help people understand the neuroscience of play, integrate play into their healing, and reconnect with the power and potential of play. Fundamental to her work is play as a human right,  play is a primal need that exists in all mammals and needs to be nourished and nurtured throughout a person’s lifetime.  

As a social worker, TJ is dedicated to social justice, and strives to fight systems of oppression that silence curiosity and self-expression. She operates a clinical practice in Annapolis, Maryland as well as a collaborative coaching business nationwide. TJ has completed the Ferentz Institutes Trauma Training and has additional training in Brainspotting, ACT, Polyvagal, IFS, and Reproductive Psychology. TJ regularly integrates these interventions as well as other somatic and expressive practices into her clinical practice. 

TJ offers clinical consultation on integrating play into trauma-informed care, conducting workshops on self-expression, and fostering collaborations with businesses and practices that share her values. Embracing a holistic approach, TJ incorporates somatic and expressive practices to enrich the therapeutic journey.

Bailey’s play is planning. Planning parties, planning meals, and planning adventures big and small with her friends and family. As the Chief Orchestrating Officer (COO) of The Playful Revolution, Bailey uses her directorial play prowess to oversee the company’s strategy, operations, and marketing. She works to build a strong foundation on which the company and the playfulness movement can grow and thrive. 
 

Before she was changing the world through play, Bailey’s career was as a communicator. She helped businesses, nonprofits, and individuals harness the power of words to tell their story, build their brand, and achieve their goals. She did this as the Director of Communications at the U.S Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Corporate Citizenship Center and later as a career consultant and writer.
 

She joined TJ on this adventure because she knows that a person’s authentic play is one of the most powerful forms of connection and liberation. She envisions a world where we’re all empowered with the language of play, and use it to form friendships, connect with our kids and family, and bring depth to our existing relationships.
